Adzuki beans will supply the body with protein. Adzuki beans have a distinctly hazelnut taste. Adzuki beans are suitable as a side dish, into a soups, spreads, cakes or salads. Do not be afraid to experiment with them.
Sort and rinse adzuki beans. Place the adzuki beans in a pot and pour in enough water to cover them well. Soak them at least for 5 or 8 hours. After that time drain the beans, and refill with clean water. Use 3 parts of water to 1 part beans. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook about 45 minutes, until tender.

Store in a cool, dry place.
